Drag to rank — no point-typing

Voters drag candidates into their preferred order. Simpler than any other ranked-voting tool, and works on a phone screen with one thumb.

Points calculated automatically

Eurovision-style ranked points are awarded and totalled for you. No spreadsheets, no manual tallying, no late-night recounts.

Live results as votes come in

The leaderboard updates the moment each ballot is submitted. Reveal it live for drama, or keep it hidden until voting closes for a big finish.

No app, no accounts

Voters open a link or scan a QR code and start ranking. Works on every phone — no app to install, no password to remember.

Team and group decisions

Pick where to eat, what feature to build next, or which name wins the bake-off. Everyone drags the options into their preferred order on their phone — ScoreJudge counts the points and shows the live ranking on screen.

"Best of" awards and competitions

Run audience-choice awards, employee-of-the-year polls, or best-presentation contests. Ranked-choice voting gives a richer result than a single-pick poll — second and third favourites still count.

Eurovision and song contest watch parties

The ranked-points system is literally the Eurovision method: 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 to your top ten. Use it for your Eurovision party, your office song contest, or any event where ranking entries is the point. See the Eurovision voting page for the full party setup, or our explainer of how Eurovision voting works for the system behind it.

Clubs, committees, and student groups

Use ranked-choice voting for officer elections, committee picks, or shortlist votes. Members rank candidates in their preferred order — no run-off meetings needed, and every voter gets a private link with no account required.

Family and friends polls

Vacation destinations, movie nights, holiday meal picks, baby-name shortlists. Anywhere a group needs to agree, a ranked vote works better than a show of hands — and ScoreJudge runs on any phone with no app to install.

Voters drag candidates into their preferred order on their phone. No checkboxes, no point-typing, no confusing UI — just a list to drag.

Automatic point calculation

ScoreJudge awards Eurovision-style ranked points (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 by default) based on each ballot, then totals them across every voter. No spreadsheets, no manual tallying.

Live leaderboard

Rankings update the moment each ballot is submitted. Show the leaderboard on the big screen during the event — or hide it until voting closes for a big reveal.

No app to install

Voters open a link in their phone's browser and start ranking. Works on iOS, Android, and desktop. No downloads, no accounts, no passwords.

From a few voters to hundreds

Free plan covers 25 voters, Plus 250, Pro unlimited. Whether it's three friends choosing a movie or a 300-person audience voting on awards night, ScoreJudge scales.

Anonymous by default

Voters do not have to give a name. Encourages honest rankings and removes social pressure — perfect for office, club, or family votes where politics gets awkward.

Share by link or QR code

One shareable link per vote. Display a QR code on the big screen or paste the link into chat — everyone is voting in seconds.

Full results and CSV export

See every voter's ballot, the points each candidate received per voter, and the final ranking. Export everything to CSV for record-keeping or for a results recap email.

Customise the rules

Change how many options voters rank, adjust the points scheme, or open and close voting on a schedule. The defaults work out of the box — the controls are there when you need them.

How does ranked-choice voting work?

Instead of picking one winner, each voter ranks the candidates in their preferred order. ScoreJudge then awards points to each rank — first place gets the most, second place a bit less, and so on — and totals the points across every voter to produce the final ranking. It's the same system used to pick the Eurovision winner — see our explainer of how Eurovision voting works if you want the full mechanics.

Not quite. Instant-runoff voting eliminates the lowest-ranked candidate round by round until someone has a majority. ScoreJudge uses ranked points (sometimes called Borda or Eurovision-style scoring), where every ballot contributes to every candidate's total. For group decisions, awards, and watch parties, ranked points is usually the friendlier method — every voter feels heard, and the result is a ranked list rather than a single survivor.

A regular poll asks each voter to pick one option. A ranked vote asks each voter to rank several options, which gives a much richer signal — you find out the group's second and third favourites, not just the most-picked one. A candidate that's everyone's second choice often beats a polarising first-choice winner.

The free plan supports up to 25 voters. The Plus plan covers 250. The Pro plan removes the limit. See the pricing page for full details.

By default, yes — voters can submit a ballot without giving a name. If you want named votes (useful for committee elections or transparency), you can require a name when voters open the link.

Yes. The default is the Eurovision points scheme (12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1), which works for most use cases. You can adjust how many positions get points and the values for each position from the competition settings.

Yes. You can keep the live leaderboard hidden during the vote and reveal it once everyone has submitted — great for award nights, watch parties, and competition finals.

No. Voters open the link in any browser and start ranking. Works on every phone, tablet, and laptop.

"We used to vote on team-night activities in Slack and the same person always won. Switching to ranked-choice voting changed the dynamic completely — second and third favourites actually count, and the result feels fair to everyone."

"Our book club has been arguing about the next read for years. The drag-to-rank ballot is so simple even my dad figured it out, and the live leaderboard turned the vote into the most fun part of the meeting."
